The technical adviser of Enyimba, Austin Eguavoen has declared Wednesday's home game with Kwara United, a must win for his side.
Going into the game on the back of a loss to Rising Stars, Eguavoen pointed out that Enyimba needed the win to remain within the top four and give their title aspirations a massive boost.
Enyimba have dropped to fifth spot with 31 points after Saturday's loss and the former Super Eagles manager is keenly aware of the dangers of slipping further down the log.
"We know what is expected of us. We know it is not going to be an easy game as Kwara United are also coming into the game with a loss but nothing short of a victory will be sufficient for us," Eguavoen told EnyimbaFC.net.
"To remain in contention for the league, we have to get back into the top four and try to get to the top. A win against Kwara United will afford us that opportunity," Eguavoen continued
Enyimba have struggled lately at home, requiring one goal victories over Jigawa Golden Stars, Dolphins and Rising Stars and drawing with Lobi Stars and Akwa United.
This not-so-impressive run of form has been a source of worry for Eguavoen and he was quick to point out that efforts were been made to change things, when asked about it.
"We keep trying to correct this in training and with the new players we have acquired, I'm sure we would soon start scoring easily," Eguavoen confidently added.
Kwara United have fortified their squad and they will be looking to cause an upset by defeating Enyimba at home.
